Louis Dupré is a leading religious philosopher and theologian who has made invaluable contributions to the study of the relationship of modern religion to medieval and classical thought. Dupré was the T. Lawrason Riggs Professor in the religious studies department at Yale University for 25 years. He has published books on Marx, Kierkegaard, and modernity, as well as over 200 articles.
