Carmen Renee Berry, is the coauthor of girlfriends, which has sold over a half million copies during its fifty-two weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, inspiring a franchise of related books. She is the author or coauthor of several other books, including When Helping You is Hurting Me, and has appeared on hundreds of television and radio shows, such as Oprah, CNN, and the Early Show. Carmen Renee holds a master’s degree in social sciences from Northern Arizona University and one in social work from the University of Southern California. She lives in Sierra Madre, California.
