Laurence Freeman

Fr Laurence was born in England in 1951 where he was educated by the Benedictines and studied English Literature at Oxford University. In the monastery his spiritual teacher was John Main with whom he studied and whom he helped in the establishment of the first Christian Meditation Centre in London. Leon Klenicki

Rabbi Leon Klenicki was a renowned scholar, theologian, and interfaith pioneer. The Anti-Defamation League’s longtime director of Interfaith Affairs and co-Liaison to the Vatican, Klenicki received many awards for his work, and was made a papal knight of the Order of St. Gregory the Great by Pope Benedict XVI. Klenicki died in 2009.

Leonardo Boff

Leonardo Boff is a former Franciscan monk, a theologian and a poet known for his strong voice for the promotion of human rights and ecological responsibility. He is the professor emeritus of ethics, philosophy of religion, and ecology at Rio de Janeiro State University. He is the author of more than 60 books in the areas of theology, spirituality, philosophy, anthropology and mysticism.

Lisa Sowle Cahill is an American ethicist, and J. Donald Monan Professor at the Boston College. She is known for her studies on gender and sexual ethics, but has extended her work to social and global ethics.

Lorenzo Albacete

Msgr. Lorenzo Albecete, Ph.D. a physicist by training, is a friend of Pope Paul II. He was president of the Pontifical Catholic University in Puerto Rico and professor of theology at Dunwoodie, the Seminary of the Archdiocese of New York.
