The late Ann Ball was a businesswoman and Catholic writer who lived in Houston, Texas. Many readers know her through her books and numerous articles in the Catholic press. A native Texan and a convert to the Catholic faith, Ann is survived by two children, a foster son, and eight grandchildren. She was an avid reader and gardener, and at one time had six cats and a parrot named Bobo who spoke Vietnamese.
