Joseph Curran is an associate professor, chair of the religious studies department, and executive director of the Ethics Institute of Northeastern Pennsylvania at Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania. Dr. Curran received his Ph.D. in theological ethics from Boston College. His research interests include Catholic social teaching and Catholicism in American political life. Curran resides in Dallas with his wife and two daughters.

Anna Bonta Moreland is the author of Known by Nature and assistant professor in the department of humanities at Villanova University of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland-College Park and a Ph.D from Boston College.
