James VanOosting, a popular circuit speaker, is Dean of Students at the College of Arts and Sciences at Seton Hall University. His previous books include curriculum books for Prentice-Hall and novels for young readers (Farrar, Straus & Giroux). This is his first nonfiction book for adults.
