Anselm Stolz

Anselm Stolz joined the Benedictines at Gerleve Abbey in Germany. He studied theology at St. Anselm’s University in Rome, where he became a professor of dogma. A charismatic teacher and influential theologian, Stolz attracted many pupils. His theology emerges from his monastic spirituality and is expressed in an extraordinary union of asceticism, liturgy, mysticism, and speculation.
