Mark T. Matousek, MS, CCDC, was born and raised in Bayside, New York. He graduated from Cathedral Preparatory Seminary High School and earned a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from St. John’s University. He has focused his work in the area of addictions and earned his CCDC (Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor) certification. He was the administrator of an inpatient drug and alcohol program in Maryland and also worked for the American Cancer Society. Mark located to Missouri to become the director of clinical services of Recon, Inc. He has been with the Recon program for thirteen years. He works closely with the staff of Recon in assisting and educating the Catholic Church regarding the problems of sexual abuse and the need for permanent residency programs for post-offenders.
