Pendergast, SJ, in collaboration with a private foundation. This verse serves as the mission statement of the Teleios Society and the Teleios Journal. Teleios is honored to have a distinguished group of scholars on its Editorial Board. Members of the Editorial Board come from the Church of Christ, the Christian Church (Independent), and the ICOC.

The Greek word teleios, meaning “mature” or “complete,” holds deep significance in the New Testament, particularly in Colossians 1:28, where the Apostle Paul describes his mission to present every believer mature in Christ through teaching and wisdom. This verse forms the foundation of the Teleios Society and the Teleios Journal, both dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, theological depth, and intellectual integrity within the Christian community. By drawing on scriptural truth and scholarly insight, these initiatives aim to guide individuals toward a more complete understanding of faith and discipleship.
